Educational estimates

TankDosing provides calculators and articles for general education. Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter, published chemistry and manufacturers' published label data. They are not professional advice and may contain errors.

Livestock safety

Fertilizer overdoses, wrong units (grams vs milligrams, US vs UK gallons, liters), impure salts and copper can harm or kill fish, shrimp, snails and plants. Always double-check units, start below the suggested dose, follow product labels, test your water and observe your animals. Copper is toxic to invertebrates at low concentrations.
